In 2009 Anja and Theo moved from the Netherlands to Kimberley BC to embark on a new adventure. Having had much experience in managing both small and larger businesses they were looking forward to a complete lifestyle change and found it in Kimberley. Since July 1st they took over Alpenglow Bed and Breakfast from the previous owners, Merna and Darrell Abel.
Anja has a passion for cooking, as you can taste in the most delicious breakfasts. She also likes to work in the beautiful garden, which shows of in summer! Anja also likes to explore all the outdoor posibilities the Kimberley BC area has to offer.
Theo is very passionated when it comes to outdoor activities. He knows the best hiking and bikingtrails in summer, as the most beautiful swim and surf spots. In winter it's the best skiing areas and crosscountry trails.
They keep on hand up-to-date schedules of all activities and tourist attractions in the area and will gladly offer all the information you need. Whether you would like to take in the sights or relax in a quiet spot with a book, you will find it here at Alpenglow Bed and Breakfast. They also can advice you about the best places to eat or heve a coffee or lunch break. Menu's of several restaurants are available at Alpenglow Bed and Breakfast.
