In summer there are many hiking and biking trails to explore. The rivers and lakes in the area are great for (fly) fishing, rafting and canoeing or swimming and sun bathing. Downtown Kimberley has its cosy, car free Platzl where you can shop and have lunch or dinner. In Kimberley you'll find the Kimberley Mine Museum and the Kimberley Heritage Museum, the Cominco Gardens are worth a visit. In the area you'll find the St. Mary's falls and Fort Steel heritage town.
In winter the Kimberley Alpine resort, with almost 80 runs on 1,800 acres of ski able area offers a wide range of challenges for all levels of skiers. Cross country skiing and snow shoeing starts from our doorstep. You can also book a challenging snow mobile tour or dog sledding.
